What do you like to do in your spare time? Cook/Bake, Work Out, Biking, Hiking, Camping, Playing cards/games. just chillin. Natural curls? Mostly yes, but in "Les Mis" and "Sweeney" they were enhanced Childhood Ambition? To perform professionally Fondest Memory? My last birthday celebration at my parents lake front property - I just love my friends! Wildest Dream? Getting Cosette in "Les Miz". Proudest Moment? When a friend told me I received a Dora nomination for my portrayal of Johanna in CanStage's "Sweeney Todd" Biggest Challenge? Finding a place of sheer insanity for Johanna in "Sweeney Todd (Act2) First paid acting job? Playing Philia in "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" in Oakville, Ontario Favourite Indulgence? Ice Cream Perfect Day? A long walk in the fresh, crisp air holding hands with JT, lots of good food (maybe BBQ), another outdoor activity, storytelling and cozy cuddles with JT Favourite Movie? The original La Femme Nakita, Run Lola Run or anything by Cameron Crowe What really irks you? People who act superior and have an overall disrespect of others Favourite food? Thai Favourite colour? Thats a tuff one because I love anything bright but if I had to pick one it would be blue or yellow Born and Raised? I am a prairie girl through and through - born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada Family? The most amazing parents ever, Ray & Sandra, my uber talented sister, Carrie, and my incredible family of friends What/who inspires you? People who rise above their given challenges and are empowered. Those who work hard and embrace their individuality. What was your best performance? I don't like using the word "best" because really every performance is just different. Favourite city you have performed in? So many its hard to choose....LA, San Francisco, Toronto, Portland, St. Paul, Seattle... When did you know you wanted to perform? When I felt the thrill of forgetting a line and saving myself as Annie when I was 11. Do you get stage fright- how do you overcome it? Yes, I do still get nervous. I control it with positive thinking and visualization. Favourite Role so far? Why? Anne in "Anne of Green Gables" because it was physically and mentally the most intense and the most like myself in truth. Any onstage bloopers or most embarrassing moments? When my wig fell off as Anne in "Anne of Green Gables" during Matthew's death scene due to an over-energenic spin! Who are your favorite performers? The lady from Ragtime and Parade(?), Nancy Palk, Gwen Stephani, Ed Norton(just to name a few) If you won the lottery tomorrow what would you do? Take a trip around the world with JT, give generous tokens of love to my family and friends, invest, generous donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation & Aids Awareness, buy that dream remodeled '67 Mustang convertable (cherry red) If you had to choose another profession what would it be? Maybe teaching or broadcasting. |
